We will canoe inland waterways and coastal keys in Everglades National Park in Florida. The Everglades is a national treasure and international World Heritage Site. It is the largest sub-tropical wilderness (1.5 million acres) in the US! Camping will be on beaches, on platforms called chickees and possibly a ground site, too. This is a great opportunity for building teamwork and persistence skills while we paddle each day. This expedition is best run December through early April.
